Based in Bangkok and operating globally, Ellsworth/Lim specializes in luxury hospitality, architecture, branded residences, commercial interiors and lifestyle imagery.
Founded by Sven Ellsworth and Sin Lim, the studio combines expertise in advertising, hospitality branding, production and visual storytelling to create photography and cinematic assets for some of the world's most respected hospitality brands, architects, designers and luxury retailers.
Their work has been commissioned by Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Minor Hotels, Grand Hyatt, Kempinski, The Ascott Limited, Bill Bensley, Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, LVMH and numerous independent luxury properties throughout Asia and beyond.
At its core, Ellsworth/Lim exists to create visual assets that strengthen brand perception, communicate authentic guest experiences and deliver long-term commercial value.

Having worked on both the agency and client side, we understand that visual assets are not created simply to fill a website or marketing campaign. They are strategic tools that influence brand positioning, support commercial objectives and help establish trust.
Rather than manufacturing fantasy, our approach focuses on revealing the most compelling version of reality—creating visual assets that align brand promise with guest experience while preserving the integrity of the architecture, design and destination.
Sven Ellsworth
Founder & Creative Director
Before specializing in luxury hospitality and architectural photography, Sven built a successful career in advertising, progressing from Art Director to Creative Director before founding his own agency in San Francisco. Following its acquisition by WPP, he relocated to Asia, where he was appointed by Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts as Art Director and Producer for Southeast Asia.
Since transitioning to photography in 2013, Sven has worked with leading hospitality brands, architects, designers and luxury retailers throughout Asia and beyond. His background in advertising, hospitality branding and visual communication allows him to approach every assignment from both the client and creative perspective.
Known for his mastery of light, composition and atmosphere, Sven creates visual assets that strengthen brand perception while authentically communicating the guest experience.
Co-Founder & Technical Director
Sin Lim
Sin oversees the technical execution and production systems behind every Ellsworth/Lim assignment. His expertise spans photography, aerial operations, motion capture and post-production workflows, ensuring complex productions are executed with precision and consistency.
Originally developing his craft through sports and action photography, Sin brings exceptional timing, spatial awareness and operational agility to the studio. From advanced lighting execution and drone operations to cinematic motion production, he plays a critical role in transforming creative concepts into polished visual assets.
Together, Sven and Sin combine strategic vision with technical excellence to deliver imagery for some of the world's most respected luxury brands.
